Hi, just bought a 2018 Kia Sportage gt line. Needed the bigger boot for my German shepherd pup. It has a dog guard fitted behind seats. What’s the best way to restrain the dog in boot please? I don’t want a cage as I will be using the boot for work in between and have nowhere to keep the cage. Also she gets a bit car sick too.

We have a mad collie and have a doggie hammock on the back seats with her favourite blanket and a dog harness seat belt attachment. When she has to go in the boot (of our sportage) the seat belt attachment goes between the base of the seat and the backrest and is long enough to hold her nicely.

I actually think the hammock is better as she isn't thrown around in the back seat. Just goes in the boot when too many people. Is also calm as she can see us and hear us.
