I'm thinking of changing the coolant as the (independant) service history doesn't mention it. The handbook states glycol ethylene and the coolant in the car is blue. Shall I stick to the same type/colour?

If you are going to drain the whole coolant system then it dosent matter what colour/type the anti freeze is, but if you are just topping up its best to stick with the same colour/type.
