it is a simple as switching it off and then back on again or do you have to wait ?
Although I have successfully 'cured' the bleeping sound on locking the car by turning off the fuse switch, I really don't know if it works by simply turning it off and straight back on.

I left it off for over half an hour as I recall and it sorted the problem so all I can tell you is that it does work. When you're doing nothing important, with a bit of time on your hands, give it a try - first with a quick off-on job and if unsuccessful, leave it switched off for longer - then you'll know.

The beeping that occurs when you lock your car is simply a confirmation that you have successfully locked your vehicle. You might also be familiar with the horn sound when you lock your car with a key fob. These features are all just confirmation sounds. While some people believe it's needed, others dislike it. forpc.onl youtube vanced for pc

My battery was disconnected last week and I've lost my door locked conformation beep, any Idea how I get it back?

Due to pickup a sportage and dealer was saying that no beep is normal with the car even if a door is left open and you are trying to lock..can someone please confirm how to activate this? On my previous sportage when the door wasn't closed properly ot used to give a beep to alert that one of the doors wasn't closed properly.
