Well my Sportage HEV is a lovely car. For 13 months no problem then the battery warning light came on (on the app). I took it in to the dealer after trying the 1500 revs motorway run as recommended and they cured it by overnight charging.(courtesy car provided). 7 months later happened again but didn’t clear, so in again overnight. That cure lasted 3 days. Just got it back after 4 days and Kia would not cover it under warranty - so my dealer has replaced the battery at their own cost. Their service (Petch of York) has been great. But then I see Kia have solved the issue by removing the facility from the app (was there this morning now it’s gone). Novel solution by burrowing their head in the sand. I feel sorry for my dealer who has spent 4 days waiting for them.
