Hi. I will be away for about 6 weeks. Will battery survive this long, without use, or do i need to fit a trickle charger?
Battery is only 1 year old.

For years we used to go to Western Australia for 12 weeks, Jan, Feb, March and the car stood in the drive throughout that time often covered in snow. The battery was 10 years old. It never once failed to start the first time on our return home.
