I have read several comments on this forum about the poor/disappointing built-in ringtone when the phone is connected to the head unit by bluetooth.
Seemingly there is no option to change it in Settings to something more agreeable.
I may have inadvertently solved this problem.
Whilst I was out driving my daughter happened to phone me. She has a custom ringtone on my phone so that I can easily differentiate between family members or people trying to cut off my broadband or get me arrested.
When the phone rang, the car's head unit also rang, with the same ringtone that was stored on my phone, so, maybe, it's possible to change the awful ringtone in the car by changing the default ringtone on one's phone?
