Hi Guys,
Does anyone happen to know (possibly Anchorman) but all opinions valued, if I fit an aftermarket arm rest to my Soul would I be invalidating the warranty in any way? It's the type that fits over the centre console.......not the seat mounted type.

Many thanks for your thoughts/views as always

Regards

Paul.

A "universal" warranty cannot be legally applied by Kia. In other words, fitting an armrest cannot affect a claim on a wheel bearing. However, if it could be proved that it caused, or the way it had been fitted caused the centre console to fail in some way, they could reject a claim for that part. However, as they sell armrests within their accessory portfolio, I doubt you will get any problems by doing so.
Things like performance chips could be held responsible for a whole raft of component failures - engine, transmission, brakes or suspension & steering etc.

No probs. Take care though, an armrest for a US vehicle will not fit as the consoles are handed. That little recess at the back curves the opposite way.
