This is taken from a picanto 2018, but may be the same for many other Kia's with 7" display or bigger.
With phone not connected
Press setup button, then (in settings) phone projection.
Next screen is Android Auto or Apple Car Play. Make sure car play is highlighted & then click on the cog under help.
Next screen is where it gives the option to change from left to right hand.
