Wondering if anyone knows what type of Antifreeze (mix%) these motors use or could I use anything? is looking kind of dirty and is overdue a flush.

If you check your handbook it will be in that.. to hazard a guess probably an Ethyline Glycol type.. perhaps another member might like to respond also.. what engine is in the car.. that info will also help..

I wouldn't go by the handbook, personally I use only good quality (but no more than £5.70 a bottle) Liebfraumilch, preferably from south facing slopes, but hey, some times you have to slum it with north facing.

But if you prefer to stick by the rules of 'the man', this is from the PDF I have of the owner's manual...

It might be worth visiting your KIA dealer; I bought some OEM anti-freeze from them and it wasn't as expensive as I feared.

Now, back to my glass of Carplan BSA002...
