For the Android Auto lover out there, TechRadar reports some updates are being rolled out across Googles many apps in the coming weeks.
Google Maps will get a Dark Mode, apparently it already had it but it only kicked in while actively navigating to a destination. Now, Dark Mode can be enabled for all the Google Maps screens.
Android Auto (it's mentioned at the end of the article), gets shortcuts for Contacts, Google Assistant, Weather etc. There is also a split screen option for those with wide displays, although they don't quantify a 'wide display'. The update also adds the ability to choose different wallpapers. And the update adds some voice operated games (You are supposed to be driving the car!).
One thing to note, this update will only be available to phones with Android 6 or above.

Sounds good.
Just wish they would add the version number that these will appear in.
