My son got in the car for the first time today.....hes avoided the Kia badge since I bought it 5 months ago!.......... "Should have bought an evoque dad!"

He then proceeded to search for a rear seat 12 socket "there isnt one dad"..."dont be daft there must be" says I.

Anyway it appears he was right or if not it is cunningly concealed. I cant believe they have omitted one in these days when even base model cars seem to have at least 2 in the passenger compartment.

Just another niggle to go with the other increasing annoyances in this car.

There's one in the front and the second is in the boot. It's behind a cover on the left hand side. There's none in the rear.

To be fair the brochure only mentions...

Front & Luggage Area 12v Power Sockets

You could always fit one, we put one in the rear for the kids ipads and phones.

I'm going to fit one inside the armrest cubby box so Mrs T can put her phone in there. There is already a recess in the moulding to allow a lead to run out if necessary.
