hi
thanks for info on previous posting, really helps to know that someone out there knows stuff
My next question and forgive me if its been addressed before i have looked thro the posting but may of missed it.
I have a 02 sedona diesel, just tecently bought, previous owner said a/c need re gassing and looking at the pipe work which seemed free of white powder etc i thought this maybe the case. However i missed to check that the revs dipped when the a/c switch was depessed this doesnt happen the lights on but no one home. So i checked the fuse box but didnt find a fuse allocated to a/c infact no mention of a/c. so my question is is there a seperate fuse for a/c and where is it or have i got a lemon?
Also can anyone tell me where to find the paint work colour code ? looked under bonnet and boot no info. Your input appreciated

Exactly what I found a few weeks back, switch on A/C, light on butno compressor noise at all. Off to Kwik fit for a regass for 45 squids (money back g/tee if it makes no difference).

Technical print out from regass machine stated 'no leaks detected' but next day same problem so took it back for another regass. Next day same problem so called in a mobile aircon specialist who knew exactly what he was doing and fixed it in no time.

£250for a new condensor (radiator). Apparrently a common fault on Kias. Condensors are alloy, brackets holding them on are steel. Steel rusts and takes alloy with it.2 obvious major leaks not detected by kwik fit machine. Got a full refund from kwik fit.

Big money to fix but works fine now --- and let's face it, when you're stuck in traffic and it's over 30c outside , you'd pay any money to have your aircon working wouldn't you.
