have just picked up a tired 2010 picanto 1 and have seen the aerial has snapped off of the thread, have looked on this forum and tryed to google for a new base mount but cant seem to find any unless i pay £80 from kia is there an alternative base i can use or where else should i look ebay not been helpfull but i may be not asking the right things so am getting all sorts come up any info would be much appreciated

i dont have some of those tools was looking to just remove and replace if you no of any that will fit many thx

I would think that just as many tools will be required to remove and install a new base. The ceiling liner will require removal. A new seal may be required to ensure no leaks.

A reasonable workshop should be able to drill and tap for half an hrs labour, perhaps less.
A replacement antenna is available at a wreaker.
You would need some marine sealant and application pistol to seal on a new base and garantee no leaks.

Only the M5 tap, drill, and punch are essential.
