Had my GT proceed 5 months now and have noticed the front seats are showing signs of ware, the car is not in use every day and has done 2800 miles.

Could try dealer & see what they say on warranty claim.

But it looks a lot like something catching when you get in car. Do you wear jeans with the metal studs? Or rough coats?

One of the joys of these new faux leather (vinyl) seats...

It is a problem on my previous generation Proceed as well.

The good news is, after a while, it doesn't get any worse!

Had that but even worse on my first Leon on the piping down the edge of the seat where the seat belt would run over. When the BVA chap came to collect it the idiot wanted to charge £600 for it, I refused to sign his iPad. A chap rang me from VW who it was leased from and had looked at the photographs BVA had sent them, said it was clearly a manufacturing/design defect and they were not going to charge me. The current Leon has leather seats, no sign of any damage or wear.

Not yet just been busy, but I will go to the dealer and show them, have been watching how I get in and out just to see if its me.
