yesterday evening got in the car and the drivers window would not open , had to put my hands on both sides of glass and help it down while my partner pressed the button , i do have wind deflectors fitted ( internal in the rubber ) it's never done this before and with an outside temperature of 13 it was not down to it being frozen ! , just wondered if anyone else has encountered this problem , and without removing the wind deflectors does anyone have any solutions , google says spray silicone spray on the rubber but the problem with that is the silicone spray will dry out and maybe stick the glass to the rubber

If you remove the wind deflector does it still stick?
i dont really want to try that because if i remove it it will not stick back in because the sticky tape that holds it in place will be no good , not been out in car today so dont know if it's ok again it has just done it the once up to now ,
