My car was delivered with only 1 key fob. Now as Kia want £360 for a replacement i decided to look elsewhere for one. It seems the soul EV while the key fob looks similar to many Kia models it is using a different frequency to activate it's functions. A local locksmith/car key specialist found a supplier for the fob and has acquired one for me but as yet has been unable to correctly program it. Any wisdom in the group as to what might be going wrong in the setting up of this replacement key fob?

i had the same problem mine only came with one key phoned round all the so called key specialist but none of them could clone one & like you kia wanted £400 for a new key, eventually found a place who not only programmed a new key but also deregistered the missing key off the system so it couldn't be used again & half the price that Kia wanted, only downside is the firm is in N/london so could be an issue depending where you live, if area is no problem i will supply contact details or if any one else needs spare keys programming.
