I’m a lady motorist, and before I go to a garage (and potentially be charged the earth) thought I’d come here for some advice/pointers/a bit of a heads up ..........👌🏻
My Picanto has started knocking when I go over an uneven road surface. Speed humps make the knocking worse. This knock happens on both sides of the car, and both sides going over the humps produce the knock (hope that makes sense)

When I turn my steering wheel to the left there is also a knocking noise.
Can anyone give me an idea of what the issue could be. Not doing many miles as working from home. Car passed its MOT first time in November 2020. Thanks

Welcome to the Forum

The common reason on most Makes of Cars is the Anti Roll Bar Drop Links.

They are about £45 each for Genuine Kia
Probably £10-£20 for a copy/pattern. They are usually as good as the Genuine ones.
Easy job for any Garage. Sometimes the Bolts holding them on need cutting off.

Link to some genuine ones for reference.

Get Local Garage recommendations from Friends, Family or Colleagues.
I generally find better Service and knowledge in the small Independents.

Thanks for the advice mcsport. I’ve had my car for three years and this is the first hint of bother I’d have with it ..... I’ll getting someone to have a wee look at it today.
