2011 Kia Sorento 150k miles
So my radio began shutting off intermittently last year and has gotten progressively worse.
worse. My radio has SIRIUS but no maps. The radio just goes completely dead. It may stay off for 30 seconds or 10 minutes.
When it comes back on it shows"loading Sirius" and then starts working again. Doesn't seem to be related to road vibrations.
I saw somewhere that others had same issue and it sounded like the radio had to be replaced which cost a boat load of $$$$.
If it is the radio, has anyone repaired the issue?
Any info will be greatly appreciated!

PS: The FM radio has never worked very well and the AM just plain doesn't pick up any stations at all.....
