Hi to everyone is there anybody who as experienced problems with their Sorento with 18" Wheels fitted by all accounts relating to 4wd issues and there seems to be probs after about 80,000 miles with manual gearboxes which as been used for towing anybody

Hi - You shouldnt get any problems running 16" - 20" wheels as long as the rolling diameter stays the same. Use this calculator to make sure you have the right size tyres. http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp, as the rim diameter increases the profile reduces if not then things like indicatedspeed and milage errors will occur, and aswith most 4x4's rotation the wheels to ensure even wear is important. Other issues with the drive train can all be avoided with good servicing - especially the sliding joint on the front prop.
