I have sportage 2017 crdi 1.7 85kw manual with start/stop

My friend have the same car but no start/stop sistem...what is the diference???

What is the diference?are this the same engine?

Are you sure they are the same engine? 2017 CRDi came with four engine specs, a 1.7 (114bhp) ISG, a 1.7 (139bhp) ISG, a 2.0 (134bhp) and a 2.0 (182bhp). Both the 1.7 engines have ISG, and the 2.0 litre engines didn't.

Probably just the badge on the the back of the car... if they are both Diesels, the Stop/Start model will probably have the "Ecodynamic" (or something like that) on the badge on the back. It's a option on the car, and it might be worth looking to see if it's a late registration 2016 model. (do both car's have Apple AutoPlay/Auto Android?)
..but honestly it's not that useful, since when the ISG does decide to work, it tend to switch off ALL the time, even if you've just driven 5ft.... it gets irritating in town traffic, and useless on long drives.
