Hello All.

I think I have a dud boost pressure control valve, does anybody know the number/type of the unit? I've tried to find a code on the unit, but can't see one. Thought i'd try here before I start taking stuff apart.

Well, got the part, but it’s not fixed the issue. The waste gate seems to be open all the time, should it be closed on idle?

Wastegate should be closed at idle, as you've not built enough boost to open it.

That’s what I thought, but the vacuum on it’s own is opening it. Cant figure what is wrong
