Urban jungle or country roads? Weekend camping trips or major shopping expeditions? Picking the kids up from school or - even better - dropping them off with the in-laws for the weekend?
The Sportage has the flexibility to handle pretty much every situation. Just check-out these stats:
ABS and EBD braking systems to help you stop fast when you need to. Traction control. Twin front ,side and curtain airbags. Air conditioning. 16" alloy wheels. 60:40 'one-touch' flat-folding rear seats (ideal for storing large packages or nagging in-laws). Immobiliser and perimeter alarms to keep nasty so-and-so's at bay. CD audio with MP3 player for your listening pleasure.
And as if that wasn't enough - it looks really cool too.
I want to give Kia global appeal, and I want that appeal to be about design above all else – the new Sportage is a major step towards achieving that goal says Peter Schreyer, Kia’s Chief Design Officer
The all-new Kia Sportage will show a dramatic shift in design direction when it makes its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show on 2 March, 2010.
Confirming Kia's outstanding performance in the workhorse-world of caravan and trailer towing, the latest Towcar Awards – jointly hosted by Practical Caravan, What Car? and The Camping and Caravanning Club – have added another prize to the company's display-case.
Technical Data
Comfort on the motorway and a big boot are in its favour. But vague steering and excessive body roll count against the Sportage.
