Hello Everybody,
I am an Italian new KIA owner, I got a Kia Venga 1.6CRD TX last friday and i have tried to learn about the bluetooth system via user's manual but i havent found any answer to my questions. I hope someone can help me.
First thing i wd like to discover is if the BT is always on, meanning, may i use the handsfree if the car radio is turned off?
Is there any possibility of using my phone contacts by the KIA BT?
If i push the connect button on my wheel i just can call the last call i did, so...how can i make a call?
Actually all that i can do is:
1) searching for a contact on my phone contact list,
2) straight activate the call on my phone,
3) pushing the calling button on the wheel and making a call...
I still think there shd be an easier way somehow to make a simple phonecall
Thank you for any kind of answer.
Regards

There is no way apart from dialling it on your phone, it's a flawed application of the wonders of bluetooth I'm afraid.

I suppose really going on the mobile phone laws here in the uk,it is designed more for recieving calls than making calls, and if you need to call then pulling over and stopping is really the answer?
I dont know, but my bluetooth works the same way as you are describing in my venga. James.
