Hello , yes i am having similar miles will a full tank of around 345- 355 miles in my picanto 1 59 reg - but it is really very low then, i do a lot of motorway miles mostly 60 -70 mph and i think i am getting 100 miles to a tenner if my right foot is not heavy. Mine has done 7650 miles!

You cannot gauge mileage like that you have to do a brim to brim fill to establish what you are getting. These cars have tiny fuel tanks (35L), what exactly are you expecting 800 miles to a tank ??? The correct MPG seems to be in the order of 16 Km/l = +- 45mpg. Anymore than that and you are onto a winner.
By your rough maths 350miles to 35L = 10Miles / litre = 16Km/l = the figure I gave above. I suspect however you are getting more as you will not have fully drained the tank so factoring in at least 5L of reserve left you are doing well. Edited by propnut - 31 Jul 2010 at 12:05am |

theres another thread on this topic here http://...kiaownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic1134_page10.html
but if your getting 300 - 350 miles out of your tank that sounds about right. Keep your fuel recipts, make a note of the mileage when you fill up and you'll be able to work out your mpg using the calculator linked in the other thread.
