Hi all my friend has recentely bought a Kia Sportage which has had a flat battery/been off the road for at least 4 months. He has fitted a new battery but the cenral locking/immobiliser/alarm not working properly, he was told it operated doors/alarm and immobiliser but all that happens when you press the button on the fob is the indicaters flash... Any ideas please xConfused

may need to reset the system, some units reset if you operate and hold both buttons together, then cycle through open and close.
If that does not work you may need to go to a Kia dealer to put there programing tool on?
