Hi

I will be picking up my 1.5 CRDi Rio Strike Special Edition this weekend.

The main reasons I went for this as my new car (replacing a 02 reg Ford Ka Luxury) were

1. Recomadation - My sister also has a Rio
2. 7 Year Warranty
3. Price
4. Nice Looking Car

I am new to Kia, is there anything that you seasoned users can recommend that I buy as an accessory when I pick it up that does not come with the car as standard? (Ipod Cable, car mats?)

Cheers

Ricky

Welcome to the forum Ricky.
I to have a Rio diesel and I bought mudflaps all round for it. I must say they are a bit on the short side but I think the car looks good with them. I would go for a set of mats and maybe a boot liner if your a mucky lad. I used the ones out of my previous Ceed they sort of fit but I might treat myself to a Rio set.  If you go on to the Kia site they show what accessories there is for the Rio and give you prices. VikingPaul on here will give you a discount on these items just ask him.

Do you know if the car comes with the cable to connect my ipod nano or do I need to buy a new cable?

I think I will buy the Rio car mats from the dealer when I collect, they look smart.

I will post my reviews on the car after a few months as well

Cheers
