hi all, have had my 06 sportage for 6 months now and love it, only prob i have is on occasions the clutch pedal sticks on the return. i went to my local dealer in warwick, they had the car for 2 days and when i picked it up they informed me of the problem. After id picked myself up of the floor when being told id need a new clutch and the cost would be around a grand i asked them to kindly explain why the problem only occurs in extreme cold temps and seems to be ok when warm. As you can guess, they said it needs a clutch and that will cure it.....when can you spare it????
I returned home and it drove purfect, no slip no sticking. i have a friend in the trade who looked at the car and found the clutch pedal spring had sheared clean off, we salvaged one off ebay, fitted and thus for a fiver the car is corking. i just want to say how extremely unhappy i am with the local dealer in warwick and will not be recommending the services to any prospective kia owners in the future.
