Hi, I recently bought a 54 plate sorento diesel and thought it had a chain, but searching on line some web site suggested 03 and 04 had belts . Could it have a belt ?Please put my mind at rest .

All sorento diesels had timing chains.

Thats great news thanks . I have been towing with a Land Rover Discovery but its getting a bit old now 16yrs , so I bought the Kia to replace it I hope it will be o.k.
