Hi All,

You tube video of US Stinger centre console swap for the Korean Version which has the cover over the cup holders.

He also runs a USB cable from the front to the back.

This shows how easy it is to take the top of the centre console out

Yeah watched that ... need to find a way to get a cheap RHD version.

Only option I see atm is to import from Australia, hopefully this will appear on a UK parts distribution at some point.

You don't need to do that.
Once you find the Kia order number you can simply use the Internet to see what's available!

(On my current Kia the guys in the US - called the Forte there - recommended replacing the MAP sensor with a different Kia part and a number of us on this site did just that and it definitely improved the low engine response.
I insisted on buying it through my dealer to make sure it was a genuine Kia part - and it cost me £70!
But people were buying from China and Korea down to about £25!)

You might have a problem as the Australian brochure shows open cup holders:

And the RoI one LHD pictures!:

But see Page 10 of the UK Brochure which shows the cover! Clap

(Even if it explicitly says "The aluminium cover on the centre console is not to UK specification" !)

So it must exist somewhere in RHD format - you just need to find the Kia order number!

See mobile screen shot below:

The New Zealand Gallery Pictures shows RHD with the cover

No brochure available for download yet.

But also has the standard disclaimer - Not all features are available on all models. For full details of model specification please see the Range and Specifications page

Just noticed that the new Kia Ceed has a tambour door that can be slid over the cup holders and this can be left open or closed as required!
