I use an iPhone 3. I can hear others on my bluetooth fine. But they can hardly hear me. Does anyone know how to increase the microphone volume? Would the microphone be U/S?

I have been using my blackberry, but everyone can hear me really clearly. I have checked it with my wife's iPhone 3GS and it was perfectly ok. I would get it checked at the dealer under your warranty, but remember the sound system is only 2 years and not 7.

Try going into the Multimedia Nav System display. Check that the microphone is active. if not reactivate as required.

I think you can do this from the headset itself if there is any option for that. I use Nokia BL504 and in that you can extend the microphone which improves the clarity.

My wife has the same problem and what we found it was is that the microphone is on the roof above the driver but she has to sit so far forward to reach the pedals that the microphone is now above and behind her and does not pick up the sound very well - She can hear others but her voice appears muffled - Does anyone know if you can get a microphone extension or plug in another microphone so that it can be mounted further forward in the vehicle - Thanks

Hi
I just picked up our new Kia Sportage. I called my wife and she told me
- It sounds that you have a sock over your phone.

So, I have the same problem. Anyone who have any ideas?
