hi my wife's 53 plate serento speedo keeps failing as you drive also steering goes heavy and when this happens the cruise control doesn't work the fault used to occur now and then but its got worse and happens all the time please help.

I would look for the speed sensor as effort to turn steering is speed dependant.I would guess you will find this on the rear axle,but not had the problem i have never needed to locate it .I would go for rear as normal drive is on there when in 2 wheel drive.

Since last posting have spoken with a friend and he believes it is located at rear of transfer gearbox.
