Whilst looking from above at the sportage I noticed 2 sets of holes on the roof rails, presumably for the crooss rails to locate in, these holes are open and would allow water in could any 2014 owners tell me if theirs are plugged of please and describe what with. Thanks in advance for any replys.

Wink
The holes in my roof rails are open and i have never seen where any one has made a comment about possible corrosion, which i assume would be covered by warranty.

I have a 2014 KX3 SatNav and also have the two holes either side on the roof rails.  Just looked at a neighbours car, 2013 model year, also the same issue so must be the way the roof rails are manufactured. Will also check with my dealer for their comments.

Thanks for the reply , I am assuming the rails are an extruded alluminium box section, maybe they are not could be solid? if so holes would be blind , curiositys got the better of me now.
