That must have been a bad one diddy, I've been lucky and never broke anything when I came off bikes. All crashes were under a 100mph. Hope not to come of the busa as it will be awffy sore at the speed that thing goes at.
Had 1.4S & 1.4SR CEED, 1.5CRDI RIO,Now SEAT LEON 2.0TDI 140 REMAPPED 185. HAYABUSA K9.

it was but only at 30mph.

basicly the front disc seized on at 30mph and the bike then gave way pivoting on my leg hence breaking it.

It didn't help that it was a Honda 400cc super sport though with its 4 cylinder engine

anyway sorry for going off topic.
Rio 1.5L CRDI - stupidly quick for a standard car
Shame the new Rio hugs trees instead of lighting up tarmac

Davy the 13000 i quoted  were for the new model only (all variants),they may seem expensive but still cheaper than the competition and i'd glady recommend one to anyone, even a Fiesta owner as it's a 'No compromise car' you really do get a lot of kit at least on the mid spec which i have.
Take a test drive and see for yourself.

Armac I do believe in it being a great car. It does look 10 times better than old one and I would assume it is better to drive. I was looking forward to this new model coming out and I would have bought one if the engine spec was an improvement on the old Rio but in my opinion it isn't and when I saw the prices I decided it wasn't for me. I could have bought a Ceed diesel for that amount.

I have said in previous posts that the new Rio a great car having looked at one for dad. I also think its great value compared to the class opposition i.e. Fiesta, Fabia, Polo etc. But personally at this moment I would buy a Ceed since its much better value, however, that is not the whole story of course. Dad says our Ceed is way too big for him and that applies to a lot of people. The other thing is the Rio is brand new and the Ceed is on its way out and that bothers some people, not me though. I can see how Kia are working this, the new Ceed will be way more expensive than the old one and then the Rio will look like a bargain.

That's exactly how I came to buy one of the new Rio's.
I originally had the Ceed on my shortlist of new cars because I honestly thought that I needed something of that size. When I visited the Kia dealers the new model Rio had just arrived and I fell for it straight away. The Ceed (especially the Proceed) is a great car but when I tried it I found that it was far too big for my needs and that the Rio was just right. It's also been 11 years since I last bought a new car so I didn't really want to get a model that is soon to be changed, probably beyond recognition.
I have no regrets getting the Rio. It drives well, has all the gadgets that I could ever want and the fact that it doesn't have "the best" diesel engine doesn't bother me one little bit because I have the 1.4 petrol. My annual mileage just doesn't warrant a diesel.
Before I made my final decision I also looked at the New Toyota Yaris, Ford Fiesta and Mazda 2 all of which I could have bought for a similar price but I still went back to the Kia dealers because the new Rio is the one that I liked the best.
