Oh no not that heap of $#!-... The ones you can pick up on eBay for £300 types. Mates got a trike version but the pull starts gone on it. Problem is its one of the very few Honda engined pull starts that came with a 3pin centrifugal pull start instead on 2pin. So finding one is impossible and he's having to have one CNC'd up to replace a broken part. If you want an ATV the best place is agricultural farm sales or MOD surplus auctions. I go to a place called RAMCO in Skegness and you would be amazed what you can buy brand new that the MOD hasn't used! Lightning T5 anyone?

How are you finding the cycling? I ride my non-electric Hybrid (GT Transeo 3.0) the 7 miles to work in Leeds when the weather allows, so most of the summer months, but this winter has been OK weather wise so silly cycling Tights aside I have racked up a good few hundred miles this year so far.
What i have noticed is the standard of driving is just getting so much worse every year. I run with a few rear lights, plus have reflective tyres, and pannier bags and wear a luminous green jacket and the number near misses is definitely increasing. I actually got knocked off by a focus a few weeks back, the D*c& drove off, luckily nothing more than a few scratches and a bent front derailleur, but it made me think twice! |

Cycling is fine, still loving the electric bike ;o) as for some drivers have to agree however I take the stance i look after myself and cycle about 1m from the curb so that have no option but to go around me. probably helps my route has mainly got street lights.

Which leccy bike have you got? i really fancy a cytronex:-
Its a lot on money though! they do powered version of the GT i have but its nearly a grand more than mine cost, and its last years model with no discs, also i cycle for fitness so it would be at odds with my reasons for pedalling to work! Very tasty bit of kit though

We have a lifecycle shared between myself and the OH had to go for a folding one so OH can fit it so not the best for me but it gets me to work. I would love a a2b ultra motor. But as you said with the better bikes comes a price and its a hard one to justify. However they are the most fun the ride for the £ compared to a motorbike/quad etc as running costs are near 0

I think those a2b's look a bit odd, i like the cytronex because it really just looks like a normal bike, they also ride exactly like a normal bike. I rode a Claud Butler explorer with the conversion and it was really impressive but still £1400 for a bike that Go outdoors charge £350 for.
The bonus of the cytronex is that the motor can be swapped out for a larger capacity one that reduces the range but increases the speed, I know its illegal but who would know!
