Cool. I'm at the other end of the spectrum, preferring the lightweight approach to fun - although these two are very good off-road. This picture is from a few years ago when they were still shiny.
 The Plums & Custard Dolly is my wife's, the hand-painted (in Dulux) Charleston is mine. As a result of getting these two, the Rio has only covered 40,000 miles in the last 11 years! |

Wow, they look mint.
There's a chap down the road from me that has constantly one or two on the go, You see a chassis outside and a shell on it's side in the barn then a few weeks later it's parked outside and another takes it's place. |

The last time I had a drive in a 2CV the faster you went the further the doors parted from the body.
In a way they look like a Silver Cross pram turned upside down with wheels attached, commonly known in Scotland as a Geeg ( a sort of bogie/cart )  Death traps |

-12 Plate Rio 1.4CRDI 5dr in Graphite to be delivered 7th March
-52 Plate Audi A4 1.9 TDI 130 remapped to 170 running on Biodiesel - Rio is replacing this so it will be gone shortly -Y plate Alfa 156 1.8 Veloce in black, tan Momo leathers, mint condition totally standard. -E Reg Delta intergrale 8v (185BHP) small arch model in red, currently languishing in a terrible state of bodily disrepair, I blue printed the Engine and drive train about 8 years ago but the body work is waiting for about a spare £5k to find its way into the spare money kitty, and the search for a decent interior has not gone well! -'67 E reg Moggy convertible, 998cc A series, marina brakes, in Dove Grey with Red hood and red vinal interior. Generally in decent nick, needs a bit of work here and there, but im the second owner in 45 years! still has the original dealers badge on the glove box. -50% share (with my sister) in a 53 plate clio 172 Cup with 202 remap by Morego, used mainly as a track car so have a set of Avon ZZR's on steelies for such events, normally the fastest shoebox in the west, but its in bits having the cambelt done, contemplating a full cage and a few other bits and bobs. Unfortunately the wife has vito'd any future purchases/spending until such time as the house we have been planning on building...is built. However this includes plans for a 4 car garage with inspection pit..........

Back in the day i had a Lancia Y10 Turbo, got gifted from my Mum on my 16th with a blown turbo, no compression, no brakes, full of rust holes, I then spend a year getting it back to a decent state.
Car dealer mate of my dad had the delta on his forecourt for over a year with no history and the alacantara interior in a shocking state. We went round for a BBQ and he said i could take it off his hands for nowt as it was taking up space, didn't realise what i was getting into though. I pretty much have only really driven from Colchester to Milton Keynes and then after the mechanicals were done from Milton Keynes to London where it is now in my Nan's garage, total 300 miles......maybe even less. Oh, forgot, i also had a 67 Beetle after the Mk3 Golf for a week, got T-Boned by a vectra, and i also ran a 95 Range rover p38 2.5 BMW engined Diesel while i had the Hyundai coupe.....
