How did you keep fillings from dropping into cylinder?

take a look at the tip end of the injector there is a nut shape there ,where the copper washer sits, you will probably have to drill right down to that point,by using a core drill you are only drilling the outside of the injector nothing can fall into the cylinder until the tip is removed ,to remove the fillings as you drill either blow them out with air or use a magnet pen,,advisable if youre not sure about the mmake up of an injector its worth finding a picture or if you have one you can take to bits, then you can see what bits will come out as you drill down, take your time.hope this helps for now

Ah. The guy that removed it initially used compression to push it out and the tip vanished when it was fired out.
