It felt smooth...no abrasion scuffs or anything like that.

I'll get some pics uploaded tomorrow.

Glad you thought that.... As I meant the rear hatch window Confused

So it's the plastic spoiler @ the top of the rear hatch Clap

My guess would be this is pre coloured plastic of some kind. If something has burned that, then you are looking at vinyl wrapping (carbon fibre anyone LOL )or a new one...

Exterior and interior pics of the panoramic roof staining - which sadly does not shift even with meths.
It's definitely a tinted film on the topside of the glass so should be easy to have a vinyl wrapper replace - I'll let you know more later once I've got that work done.

I once had someone pour cola over my car giving a very similar result, could be an orange drink, very acidic if left.

because it's had it have you tried a magic sponge on the roof just to see if it dose anything I would not have the shark fin taken of I would have the wrap cut around it . Just my view

This may of been caused parking under trees. I saw a caravan roof on a recent forum which had similar stains from leaves falling on it.

Hey Cornish Dave - what's a 'magic sponge'? A fine abrasive block?

Having now seen the images, I remember reporting similar staining on the rear door glass of my 2012 model, about 5 years ago.
It did eventually come off, but I don't recall what I used to remove it.
