Is it possible to remove the fuel filler pipe on an 05 Sportage 2.0 CRDI? I was hoping to repair/replace a rusted filler pipe. I managed to disconnect it from the rubber hoses at the tank end, released it from the body at the filler cap end and unbolted all the brackets, but manoeuvre it out of the rear suspension - impossible? Is there a trick to this, or is it a hacksaw job?!

Sorry I can't answer you question but if it is a hacksaw job then perhaps you need to consider how to get a replacement one back in?

Well spotted JoBo! Thought I could mend hole then rejoin the two halves with suitable hose.
