Just a quick question.

The car has the ice cube led daytime running lights.

When you switch on sidelights, nothing happens at front-end. So am I right in thinking that it doesn't have sidelights as such but it just has the ice cube leds that acts like the front side lights and DRL?

Ah great thanks for confirming. One less bulb that could blow I suppose as I assume the led lights should last ages?
But also imagine if they did go that it would be a replacement part from Kia?

Yeah I turned side lights on and noticed nonother light came on at front so did wonder.

Correctly installed and correctly operated LEDs last many times longer than bulbs.

In 2013-14 cars DRL packing in common problem. Usually new headlamp unit replacement is only solution.

Mine was replaced under warranty.

If DRL [=sidelight] fails then it is MOT fail.
