Seven variants of the Venga are available at launch. In keeping with other recent Kia introductions and updates, the three trim choices will be badged Venga 1, Venga 2 and Venga 3, making it easy for buyers to understand the grading structure. Diesel models have EcoDynamics badging so that buyers can immediately recognise them as the most fuel-efficient vehicles in the range.
Venga goes on sale in the UK with a choice of three torquey and fuel-efficient engines and the option of manual or automatic transmissions. Diesel versions feature EcoDynamics, Kia's fuel-saving, CO2-cutting technologies that include Intelligent Stop and Go (ISG). This switches off the engine when the car comes to rest and the gearlever is put into neutral, and restarts it the instant the clutch pedal is depressed.
The 4068mm long Venga has an unusually long 2615mm wheelbase, a high roofline and class-best width so that it is able to offer interior space comparable to that found in C-segment cars – but within a footprint typical of a B-segment vehicle.
Kia is kicking off 2010 by extending its unique seven-year warranty to all its cars – delivering Europe's best manufacturer-backed protection for new car buyers.
Kia Motors has just added a new baby to the range. Smaller than the Picanto, the latest Kia, launched on Sunday, weighs just 6lbs 7oz and comes only in pink.
Kia Motors Corporation has taken the wraps off its new Cadenza, the production version of its VG concept car – an all-new saloon car designed to deliver refinement, safety and emotional satisfaction in an ‘ideal’ driving package.
